Along with my ragged Elephant on wheels my Rubber Duck, bobbing in my bathwater, is one of my earliest memories.
So I've decided to have a regular Monday rubber duck spot on the blog. Here's one that I picked up from the Apex Hotel in Edinburgh.
O
Hope that you enjoy the Rubber Duck spot. Let me know.
I have a suspicion that my husband has stayed in the Apex hotel in Edinburgh, but I don't remeber any Rubber Duck appearing in his baggage.
ReplyDeleteOne thing about them though. I have never been satisfied with the floating quality of them; they always seem to be listing one way or the other. I must get inferior quality ducks!
I can confirm that you get said rubber ducks at the Apex. I like to take their shampoos and encourage my colleagues to do the same and donate to me - I give them to the church who collect for the York homeless centre. At least I am confident that homeless people in York have clean hair!
ReplyDeleteYou will be seeing more of Dubby Duck I think -and his friends.
ReplyDeleteI was going to write something witty here, but I've been put off by that picture of Whoopie Goldburgh. There is now a Sister Act stage play. Just what the world needs.
ReplyDeleteHow did you manage to get that very cute orange Apex duck? I only have a couple of yellow ones. SOOOO unfair...
ReplyDeleteI believe customer services is the place to go for Apex ducks - heard it was a departmental requirement for a time to 'borrow' these ducks if you stayed in an Apex hotel. Disciplinary action if you returned without one.
