It's Bardsey Island at the bottom end of the llyn with a sun dog reflected in the sky above it. Those cirrostratus clouds have been around a lot this summer, they hold the ice crystals that cause sun dogs to appear. When I was a boy we called them Mare’s tails because that’s what they look like – I still do.
