Today is not only the first day of meteorological spring,
but also the day of the big weigh-in.
Well, when I say big, it isn’t really. It’s just that for a month now I’ve been ‘watching what I eat’. Not too carefully you understand, just losing a few non-essentials like sugar in my tea, butter, fried food (most of the time), chips, cakes, biscuits, nuts – should I go on?

In truth I haven’t found it too hard. It has been okay and
today I found that I’d lost five pounds over the last four weeks. At first I was
disappointed. I was expecting at least half a stone. But when I thought about
it I realised that with just a few changes and a bit more thought about what I
was eating I’d lost the equivalent of over two full bags of sugar in weight.
Anyway, I’ll stick with it for another month. I may even try
a bit harder.
Well done Andy. Stick with it!
ReplyDeleteLike I said. I'll give it another month and see how it goes.

ReplyDeleteI can help you lose 5lb a week if you're willing to cut out everything you love! (Not recommended!!) well done btw. It's not easy to cut out nice stuff. X

ReplyDeleteI wish I ate that stuff to cut it out! I need to move about and not sit on my office chair for 5 days a week!!!!!! Well done for cutting out the things you enjoy, it is obviously paying off. A chap in my office cut out bread and has lost 3 stone in a year so that may help if you have that resolve xxx

It may be slow but maybe this time I might succeed. I once lost two stones in six weeks! Of course that was many, many years ago. These days I'd be happy to be able to see my feet when I look down and not get out of breath getting up from the sofa.
